Mobile platform for train roof maintenance
Customer request: Equip a maintenance center with an access to carry out maintenance on trains roof.
FORTAL Solution: Design and manufacture of a raw aluminium platform adjustable in height by cranks. Access to the roof by a variable tilt staircase with non-slip grating steps and ramp. At the top of the platform, the deployment of the guardrail allows the security of the operators once on the roof. The structure is handled manually by two operators or with the help of a lift trucks. Operator safety is ensured by peripheral guardrails and deployable guardrails, baseboards and non-slip grating coating. Rubber protection on the side of the train protect the paint of the vehicle.
