Ladder with safety cages and staircases for cable car station access
Client request: The customer needs access to different control points on cable car station.
FORTAL solution: Design and achievement of a ladder with safety cages composed of three parts. The ladder with safety cages was decomposed to match perfectly with the roof shape. A side staircase allows access to the roof to perform various maintenance and control operations. Two safety doors guarantee operator safety. A second staircase, consisting of two parts, gives access to the station structure. The lower part of this staircase can be fitted thanks to a manual winch to allow vehicles traffic. The whole has been designed to keep each structure accessible after a major snowfall.
