Set of platforms for train maintenance center
Client request: Need to equip a train maintenance center with secure height access.
FORTAL Solution: Design and achievement of aluminium access for train maintenance. The roof is accessible thanks to a side platform with an articulated and deployable guardrail to ensure a safe working area for operators. Access to the front of the train is provided thanks to a mobile platform with two staircases located on either side of the railway with rail-guidance system and risers for 3rd headlight. The whole is completed by a mobile platform for intervention on the train doors. A gangway for rail passage with removable guardrails and removable staircase to go down into the pit complete this achievement. Everything is completely secure, adapted to the constraints of the site and eliminates any risk of falling from height.
