Customer request: Ensure safe, ergonomic, and efficient access to bus roofs for maintenance operations, while adapting to different vehicle sizes and the constraints of a production workshop. The goal: allow operators to work in complete safety, with a stable and comfortable workspace.
FORTAL solution: Design and manufacture of a mobile height-adjustable platform equipped with a deployable protection ring. Its robust extruded aluminum structure and galvanized steel frame provide maximum durability, even under intensive use. The platform offers a spacious, anti-slip working surface with a variable-angle staircase for ergonomic access. Once the ring is deployed, operators benefit from a fully secured area, protected by guardrails and sliding lower sections. To facilitate workshop movements, the platform is mounted on swivel wheels with brakes, retractable via crank jacks. In working position, it rests on stabilizing pads to ensure perfect immobilization. Non-marking rubber protections are also integrated on the vehicle side to prevent any risk of damage.
