Fixed platform for bus maintenance
Client request: Need to access on bus roof for maintenance operations.
FORTAL Solution: Design and achievement of a fixed structure in raw extruded aluminium profiles and galvanized steel frame allowing access to the bus roof. The fixed structure consists of two landings platforms accessible via two staircases with non-slip ribbed steps, ramps and safety gates. The landings platforms are equipped with guardrails. The bus side guardrails are removable to allow access to the bus roof. Drawers with rubber protection at the end complete landings platforms to conform perfectly the buses shape. These drawers can be operated from the ground by pneumatic jack. Two removable platforms are grafted to the front and rear of the achievement once the bus is installed.
