Mobile platform for maintenance on train roofing
Customer request: Need for mobile maintenance equipment to safely rehabilitation of wagons roofs.
FORTAL solution: Manufacture of mobile platform with suspending bearings for the wagon rehabilitation. Aluminum main structure with steel brace. The bearings are accessible from the train roof. The sliding guardrail allow the pantograph passage. Handling of the structure is done by slinging with a hoist using lifting eyes. The two lateral bearings are equipped with grooved wheels for guidance on the top of the roof. The stability is ensured by four rubber pebbles protecting the wagon painting in parallel.
